I don’t know why the 992b has a relatively low amplitude but it is normal. Hamilton 992 watches (without the b) and old steel springs can have amplitudes above 300°. Timegrapher readings from an average Hamilton 992b. It’s normal for a 992b to have only an amplitude in the 250° range. A beat error of 2ms is at the upper limit of what is acceptable.
