Could be by Japanese pottery and ceramics company Marutomo, but only marked as “Foreign”. Depicts a pretty country scene with a couple of figures and horses and a hay wain. Please see below for condition. Lovely, bright colours. I far as I am aware, the production period for this article was between 1920 and 1939 so almost an antique!

1930s jam pot – vintage Japanese honey or jam pot in the form of a hand painted turquoise house with pink door and windows, a yellow chimney pot, red flowers and ivy growing up the walls. It has a wicker handle. This lovely quirky jam pot is in great condition!
